The annual global conference of the OpenStreetMap community, the State of the Map (SotM) brings together the brightest and most active members of the OpenStreetMap (OSM) surveying and development community from around the world for an intense exchange of results and ideas that strengthens the project and ensures its continued success.
SotM 2020 will be an online conference happening on 4 and 5 July 2020.

Originally, the State of the Map 2020 was planned to be an in-person conference hosted in Cape Town, South Africa. Because of the Coronavirus disease Pandemic it was necessary to switch to an online conference format. This change is also reflected in what we can offer in the various sponsorship packages above.
